According to a December 2009 Mobile metrics report by AdMob, the iPhone has a 54% browser market share in North America, and Android has a 27% browser market share. Because these devices can display full versions of the websites, many website owners feel that it's not important to have a mobile version of their site. Even though there are so many mobile devices that can display full versions of their site, it's still important to have a mobile version of your site. Slower mobile networks and tiny navigation elements can make navigating a site on a mobile device an unpleasant experience.

Because most Americans spend almost 3 hours a day browsing the web on a mobile device, it's becoming more important to give these users a pleasant experience when trying to find information about your business or website.
Content creation is important for your site from an SEO perspective since it helps your ranking with the more pages you have that are relevant to whatever subject your website is about. If it is quality content, people will link to your site which will also help your ranking.
If you have a website about a particular subject, chances are you are an authority on that subject. There is no reason why you couldn't write blog posts, make some video posts, or start a podcast where you talk about your subject.
Gary Vaynerchuk once said, "Daily blogging is like showering". What this means is like showering, it's important to create your content on a regular basis and to make it a daily ritual. If your content doesn't come out on a regular basis, people will become disinterested and not come back to your site often. But keep in mind that quality is better than quantity.
It's also important to take pride in the quality of the content you create. If you're going to start a podcast, invest a little bit into your equipment to bring the quality up.
